We know that the economy is depressing right now, but go ahead and take a short drive up to Highlands, NC and get away from everyday life and the summer heat. We are not far from Atlanta and many other cities in the southeast so you can still take that vacation you need and crave or just take a couple of days break and not spend as much as you would by flying or driving greater distances.
Highlands is a “different world” but not as far.
